These terms (Terms) govern your use of thinglab.com.au and all related sites. Please read these Terms carefully. BY USING THE WEBSITE YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS. You must not use the Website if you do not agree with these Terms.
In these terms and conditions, the expressions 'we', 'us' and 'our' are a reference to REA and related companies.
- Online shopping
- Placing your order
On the top navigation click on "Store" to be taken to our store categories. You are then able to add as many items in your shopping cart as you wish. Click on "Continue Shopping" to be taken to the previous page you just added your item from. If you require multiple quantities of an item, you can simply increase the quantity or decrease if you change your mind. You can go to your shopping cart by clicking on the top shopping cart image/icon.
If you have a discount coupon code, enter your code and click on "Apply Coupon", this action will re-calculate the shopping cart amount.
While you are on the checkout page, you are able to get an estimate of your shipping costs. You can do this by entering your preferred destination and click on " Get a Quote". This action will show a list of available shipping options for the destination you have specified, select one from the listed and click on "Update Total".
When you are ready to proceed with the purchase, click on "Proceed to Checkout" then proceed and register your details.
On the checkout page, enter your personal and shipping details. You may pay for the items which you order online by supplying details with your selected payment method. If you require an alternative payment method please contact us either via email, email@example.com or call on +61 (0)2 9634 2144.
Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of data when communicating with REA Online Store via email. Accordingly please do not send us payment information using email. For details of the security measures we employ please read our Privacy Statement. Unless we are fraudulent or negligent we will not be liable to you for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to the personal and transactional information you provide us when placing an order.
- Dispatch and Stock Availability
If an item is in stock your order is dispatched the within three working days.
Once you have confirmed your order and we have received it, we will only contact you if an item is out of stock or on backorder (and given estimated time frames on when item will be back in stock), at which time you will be given the chance to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
You can call us for immediate stock information and other sales enquiries during business hours. (See contact details below.)
If you choose standard delivery option and you live in Australia, your order will take 2-7 working days. If you live outside Australia we will ship your order using TNT or FedEx, the estimated delivery time is from 2-10 days but also varies based on your selection of Priority shipping or Economy.
Please note, REA Online Store uses AusPost, DB Schenker, FastWay, TNT and FedEx, therefore we rely on their processes and delivery times to your chosen destination once the parcel has left our facility. We cannot give any guarantees on the respective courier's behalf.
- Free Pick Up
REA Online Store is based at in Sydney. You can choose to pick up your order free of charge from REA’s facility (Unit 2, 3 Packard Ave, Castle Hill, 2154 NSW), during our business hours (Monday to Friday from 9:30am – 5:30pm). You will receive notification of when your order is ready and when it will be available to collect.
REA Online Store uses encryption technology to make shopping on the site as secure as it can be.

Every effort has been made to keep information on this website as current as possible, but if prices and availability change, REA Online Store cannot accept responsibility.
- Refunds / Exchanges / Store Credits / Faulty and Incorrect Products
Refunds/Exchanges must be requested within 3 working days of placing your order. If your order has been dispatched and you wish to return, exchange or cancel, a store credit will be given to the value of the item being returned and will not include the cost of shipping the item.
Returns/Store Credits must be requested within 3 days of receiving your order (the product needs to be in mint, saleable condition on its return before refund is made - we must remind you that if you do not package the item correctly then it could result in arriving in a damaged state and no refund will be due). We will process a refund/store credit once we have received the goods back from you in a saleable condition.
If you consider that any goods delivered are faulty or incorrect you need to notify us within 7 days of receiving the goods. The fault and our acceptance of it (once it has been sent back to REA), will be evaluated based on information provided by you and we will make an exchange or provide a refund. If a product needs verification by the manufacturer, an exchange or refund will not be given until the product has been evaluated.
A Receipt / Invoice / Proof of sale must accompany any request for a refund or exchange.
Unless it is a result of our error, or the goods are faulty or incomplete on arrival, you are liable for the costs of returning goods to us. In cases where we refund the original delivery charge, we will only cover our standard delivery charge. Any priority, express or courier component will not be refunded.
You are liable for any damage to, use of, or loss of, the goods until the goods are received by REA.
- REA's Liability
REA's liability for breach of a condition or warranty implied by the Trade Practices Act 1974 (other than under section 69) in relation to the supply of goods or services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal domestic or household use or consumption is limited, at REA's option, to:
- In the case of goods – the replacement of the goods, the supply of equivalent goods, the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or the payment of the cost of acquiring equivalent goods; or
- In the case of services – the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us via phone or email (see contact details contained in these Terms). As we try to process orders immediately it may not always be possible to prevent an order from being despatched. If your order has already been despatched you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy and the payment refunded according to the Refund Policy.
- Missing Orders
You must notify us within 3 weeks of dispatch date as recorded in the Order Verification email if you have not received an item. After this time no refund will be issued for any missing orders.
